
The Top Phones Coming Out in 2023
The future of cellphones is sure to bring many amazing features that take the user experience to the next level. Thankfully, the wait for some of these will not be very long. Starting at the end of 2022 and going into 2023, several companies are releasing top of the line smartphone models. These top brands are utilizing new technology and new features that consumers cannot wait to get their hands on:
1. Sony Xperia 5 IV
A price friendly model to be released starting in October. AVERAGE COST $1,000 (USD).
An upgrade in the current Xperia 5 model line, the Xperia 5 IV offers several brand new features. Two of the key features offered are a brighter screen and a larger battery as opposed to previous models. Surprisingly, the company has also incorporated a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is rare to find in smartphones these days. With 5G capability, 3 color options, and 128GB of storage, Sony stayed true to their previous models.
2. Huawei P60 Pro+
A budget friendly brand that’s bringing new features starting in late November. AVERAGE COST $999 (USD). With a 7.1″ display and a fast charging, long lasting battery, the P60 Pro+ is a great option for those looking for functionality. The 64 MP selfie camera and the 200 MP primary camera lens is sure to please any level of consumer. Couple this with the option for either 356GB or 512GB of storage, and Huawei offers a great smartphone option.
3. iPhone 14
One of the most anticipated releases, expected around early September. AVERAGE PRICE $1,099 (USD). As with most iPhone releases, there will be multiple versions available to purchase. The standard 14 will run around $799 USD, the 14 Max is coming in at $899, the 14 Pro will be priced around $1,099, and finally the 14 Pro Max is expected to be around $1,199. Again, within the typical iPhone standard, the differences in size and capability of these models can be inferred from previous models. The Pro models will include the best cameras (48MP main, 12MP ultrawide, 12MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom VS. dual 12MP wide, ultrawide), while the Max options will include the largest screens (6.7″ VS. 6.1″). All model options will have a battery size ranging from 3,200 mAh to 4,323 mAh.
4. Samsung Galaxy A74 5G
A familiar favorite in the android family coming March 2023. AVERAGE PRICE TBD (USD).
The Galaxy A74: now with 5G capability and many other appealing features. A 5000 mAh battery ensures long lasting use. With 128GB of storage and a 64 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP + 5 MP camera set up (plus a 32 MP selfie camera), consumers will have ample room for the life-like quality photos they will take. Samsung is expected to release more information soon.
5. Xiaomi 13 Pro
Expected around the end of November, this smartphone still has a lot of information to be released. AVERAGE COST TBD (USD). A lot of information behind this option has yet to be fully confirmed. By reasonable inference, there are a few things that can be expected. First of all, in the area of display, a 6.7″ flexible screen with curved edges has been reported. Reports also include a 100W fast charge support as well as 50W wireless charging. More information is to be expected in the upcoming months.
