For the past few years, the smartphone market in the country was dominated by Apple, Samsung, and LG, which produced the most consumer favorite smartphones in the world. These three brands control about 78 percent of the smartphone market according to a 2019 survey. Each of these brands brings out the smartest and latest mobiles every year that consumers willingly purchase. 

In recent times, brands such as Motorola, Google Pixel, OnePlus, and Huawei have given the top brands a tight competition. Below are the four top brands that dominate the smartphone market in the country. 

Apple 
Ever since Steve Jobs launched the first iPhone in 2007, Apple quickly grew up to be a leader in the smartphone market by owning a unique operating system, inspiring multi-touch design, and stability. The iOS has been preferred by many Macintosh owners as they can sync their smartphones to their laptops, tablets, or desktop computers. Newbies to the iOS prefer to buy these for their inspiring design, speed, and durability or resale value. Even though Apple iPhones may have some downsides, they still seem to have a large fan base throughout the world. 

Samsung
Samsung has been making mobile phones since 1988. Its first smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S emerged as a crowd favorite. Since 2010, Samsung has been favored by users around the world due to its immersive display and sound experience, not to mention the high definition cameras that they keep on updating for a very competitive price. Since 2018, Samsung has taken its technology many steps ahead by including the fastest processor, wireless-charging 2.0 and ultra definition camera. Unlike many other smartphone companies, Samsung produces a variety of smartphones that fit the budget and needs of the consumers, thus providing a smartphone for every kind of person.

LG
LG came up with its first smartphone LG Prada in December 2006, which was not exactly a hit. However, over the past decade, LG has given a tough competition to Samsung. Until the end of 2019, LG had the third biggest smartphone users in the country. They have been maintaining a loyal consumer base for a long time due to their stability, elegant features that make up a user-friendly smartphone at a very competitive price. 

Motorola
Motorola has been in the smartphone market since the Moto Razr days in 2004. However, after Motorola has been owned by Google and then by Lenovo, Motorola smartphones have seen many updates in features and designs. Motorola’s slim design coupled with its android user-friendliness and affordability keeps it at the top of the smartphone market.

Motorola’s latest innovation is the revival of the Razr but with a touchscreen, and it has already started getting a lot of anticipation.
